Spinwell is recruiting for a Building Control Surveyor for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.

BUILDING CONTROL SURVEYOR JOB DESCRIPTION

To implement and enforce the requirements of the Building Regulations and Associated Legislation in an effective and efficient manner, both in an office and site environment, dealing with a varied and heavy workload, so as to ensure that Statutory Requirements and performance targets are met.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE BUILDING CONTROL SURVEYOR

• Previous practical experience, involvement in and demonstrable commitment to building control or a relevant related discipline
• Possession of, or studying towards, a University Degree or equivalent in a building related subject and be able to progress to full membership of RICS, CIOB or CABE
• Registered with the Building Safety Regulator to at least Level 5 (no later than the end of March 2024).
