Permanent opportunity for a Building Maintenance Surveyor to work across the historic Bath region!
Your new company Working as a Property Maintenance Surveyor, you will join a historic and award-winning landlord, providing supported living and sheltered housing schemes to residents based across the historic city of Bath and surrounding regions in Northeast Somerset.
Your new role As a Property Maintenance Surveyor, you will initially join a specialist works team which is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and improvement works scheduled to take place across residential properties. You will not be lacking variety in your role! – You will be project managing roofing, window, and door replacements, as well as rebuilding walls and providing specialist technical advice across other property defects . There is an opportunity to progress in this position into a project management role offering end-to-end delivery of large programmes of works and contracts.
What you’ll need to succeed In order to succeed in this position, you will need to have previous experience working in a building surveying, maintenance surveying, technical surveying or property services surveying position, ideally working within social housing or within a residential environment. In order to achieve the highest salary available, you’ll need to possess either a degree in building surveying or a HND / HNC in construction or equipment.
What you’ll get in return In return, you will receive a salary of between £40,000 – £42,000 alongside a wide range of benefits, which include 26 days annual leave + bank holidays, additional days leave on your birthday, contributory pension scheme, free parking, and access to a hybrid working scheme which includes working from home options.
