Chartered Building Surveyor
Location: Warwickshire / Hybrid
Rate: £442.43 per day (Umbrella)
Contract: Interim Assignment

A local authority in Warwickshire is seeking an experienced Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS) to join their Property Services team on an interim basis.
Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver the full range of building surveying functions across the council s commercial property portfolio
• Carry out building condition surveys and develop a Planned Property Maintenance (PPM) programme
• Manage and prioritise maintenance works
• Prepare drawings and work schedules for building projects
• Provide project management for small to complex capital works schemes
• Prepare future maintenance budgets and liaise with finance teams
• Support feasibility studies and deliver improvement and investment plans

Essential Criteria:

• MRICS qualified Chartered status is essential
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in building surveying, property maintenance, and asset management
• Strong technical knowledge of property maintenance planning, building regulations, and construction methods
• Ability to produce technical drawings and job-specific schedules
• Proven experience managing a range of projects from concept to completion
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills
