Our client based in South Tyneside are looking for an experienced Building surveyor to join their team on a ongoing contract.

Job description:

• Working on damp and mould inspections within the Healthy Homes team.
• Undertaking detailed inspections of residential properties to identify causes of damp, mould and condensation.
• Diagnose building defects.
• Providing technical solutions to ensure properties meet Healthy Homes standards and statutory requirements.

Person Specification:

• Must have relevant qualification in Building Surveying (e.g. HNC/HND, Degree in Building Surveying or equivalent)
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Must have a valid Skilled CSCS card
• Experience working within social housing is highly desirable
• Successfull candidates must have the following certificates: Manual Handling, Asbestos Awareness, Working at Heights and Abrasive Wheels.
