Temporary to permanent Job: Consultancy/ maintenance contract for Government dept/ repairs and maintenance

A large housing association has a need for an Experienced Building Surveyor with excellent IT skills (using teams) to work on a temp-to-perm contract for a 3-month period initially, then going permanent
The Role
Working on insurance claims by carrying out surveys and updating files in teams and co-ordinating the remedial work needed.
The works are fairly minor in nature – smoke and water damage mainly.

Travel will be throughout the East Midlands region and so this role is mainly home based with a visit to the office once a week.
About You
You will need to be a qualified Building Surveyor or have a relevant trade background and experience as a surveyor.
You will be an expert in social housing maintenance and have excellent IT skills.

This role is for 3 months initially and then becomes permanent subject to a satisfactory period.
What you’ll get in return
Weekly pay, holiday pay and pension if PAYE, or Umbrella. This is inside IR35.
