Turner Property Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a respected independent surveying practice seeking a Chartered or Senior Building Surveyor to join their Newcastle office. This role is ideal for a professionally focussed surveyor who wants to deliver high-quality surveying advice and take ownership of technically challenging projects.

You will work with a variety of clients, providing expert guidance across professional surveying services, with the opportunity to grow your specialism and influence within the team.

The Role

As a Chartered or Senior Building Surveyor, your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering professional surveying services across a variety of projects
• Acting as the main point of contact for clients, providing expert advice and guidance
• Conducting building surveys including defect analysis, condition surveys, and project monitoring
• Producing detailed reports, specifications, and recommendations for clients
• Managing projects independently, ensuring delivery to budget, programme, and quality standards
• Mentoring and supporting junior staff, contributing to team development
• Collaborating with colleagues across the practice to ensure consistent service quality

About You

• MRICS Chartered Building Surveyor, or working towards chartership
• Strong experience in a consultancy or professional surveying environment
• Ability to deliver technically challenging and professionally focussed work
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills
• Self-motivated and able to manage multiple projects independently
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
