50% hybrid based role; offices are located in Bristol, Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester, Newcastle upon Tyne or Cambridge (expenses will be paid from your base location to the other sites)
UK real estate experience is essential, working with partners in both the public and private sectors.
This is a unique role, whereby you will be instrumental in promoting the culture of innovation and inclusion within the regeneration of UK housing initiatives.
You will have the skills and expertise to deploy capital spends in the form of grants, loans and guarantees to equity, within a newly launched national programme strategic plan (2023 to 2028).
This role reports to the CEO and as an Executive member of the Leadership Team, you will be responsible for the strategic leadership of Investment Directorate (c 300 colleagues), with an investment and management portfolio which underpins the ability to deliver strategic objectives.
Essential skills needed –
Chartered Banker or Chartered Surveyor together with UK real estate experience across capital stack
Market and strategic inspirational leadership, including significant change agendas and adept at building high performing teams
Extensive insight into financial market dynamics and investment issues/opportunities
Deep financial and strategic planning
Ability to work with a wide stakeholder base, up to ministerial level
Desirable
Experience of regeneration, developments and land investment
Experience of public policy or the ability to adapt
