We re hiring: Class 2B+ Registered Building Control Surveyor!

Sarto Thomas are exclusively working with a local authoirty client to fill a brand-new contract role in Yorkshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a Class 2B+ Registered Building Control Surveyor to join a team with supportive managment.

The initial contract is for 4 months, with a strong likelihood of extension due to current market conditions and upcoming projects.

The role:

• Position: Class 2B+ Registered Building Control Surveyor

• Location: Yorkshire

• Contract Type: Inside or Outside IR35 Depending on your preference

• Hourly Rate: £60-65 an hour

• Weekly Take-Home Pay: £1,312 £1814.13 after tax, paid every week within 48 hours of timesheet approval

What’s involved?

• Conduct site inspections and review plans.

• Ensure compliance with the latest building regulations and codes.

• Stay up to date with regulatory changes and address compliance issues promptly.

• Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, architects, and key stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Class 2B+ registration with the BSR essential

• Minimum 3 years proven experience in a Building Control role

• LABC experience desirable

• Excellent communication skills, both in writing and face-to-face

• A proactive approach to problem-solving and teamwork
