As the new Commercial Senior Surveyor, you’ll be joining a strong team of experienced commercial property experts. The department cover over 200 commercial properties on the behalf of a wide range and varied investor clients with sectors varying from office, R&D and retail sectors.
Your new role
As the Commercial Senior Surveyor, you’ll be providing a full range of professional and management services to clients. This is a client-facing role, where you’ll be attending client meetings whilst producing and maintaining property reports and schedules. You’ll be working alongside an experienced team of other surveyors, and you’ll be helping with the day-to-day operations. Providing a high level of service is absolutely key to also developing the commercial management service to increase income.
Other responsibilities include:
Processing rent reviews and lease renewals. Providing consultative and strategic advice. Helping with maintaining property records, ensuring they’re updated. Service charge management. Overseeing and monitoring rent collection, service charges and credit control. Preparation of annual portfolio reviews and valuations. What you’ll need to succeed
In order to be successful for this role, you’ll need to be MRICS accredited with some experience in commercial property management. It’s important to have the ability to understand Real Estate Lease terminology. Providing a high level of customer care is paramount with experience of building long-term relationships. With this, it’s important to be self-motivated and enjoy working as part of a wider team.
As the Commercial Senior Surveyor, you’ll also need the ability to meet multiple deadlines whilst prioritising workloads with a high level of accuracy and detail. You’ll also need strong organisational skills, both written and verbal, with a high level of professionalism and understanding of confidentiality is paramount.
You’ll need to have a full driving license and use of own car to be insured for business use.
What you’ll get in return
Salary for this role is £45,000 above, dependent on experience.
