We are recruiting for an experienced Contracts Manager for role within a successful building contractor in the Preston area. You will be working in the insurance division, overseeing repairs & reinstatement works to residential properties following an insurance claim (fire, flood, escape of water and subsidence damage). Average claim value £3k-£5k but dealing with claims up to £500k.
The role will cover the Lancashire area including Blackburn, Bootle, Preston & Burnley.
Duties
Scheduling and programming residential refurbishments following insurance claims (fire, flood, escape of water damage etc.)
Managing spend & profit budgets on each project
Monitoring all KPI’s and SLA’s and reporting on these
Allocating and scheduling resource (PAYE direct trades and sub-contractors)
Manage/monitor variations, ensuring delays are minimised/profitability achieved
Dealing with issues arising throughout the works and managing complaints
Ensuring Health & Safety regulations are met
What is required:
Contracts Manager experience dealing with repairs, maintenance, refurbishments to residential properties.
Experience in managing trades teams.
If you have had experience in the insurance repairs industry this will be highly advantageous (but it is not necessarily essential for the right person)
You will need to be a confident IT/PC user (training on specific systems provided)
You will need to have a full UK drivers licence (car or allowance provided)
Ideally you will have experience using Symbility, Xactimate (or similar)

£40,000 – £45,000 (depending on experience)
