Lead major fire protection projects as a Contracts Manager with full client-facing responsibility, high autonomy, and a clear route for progression.

We are seeking a Contracts Manager to take ownership of multiple fire protection projects across London and the South East. The Contracts Manager will oversee contract delivery from award to completion, acting as the main client contact and ensuring all projects meet safety, quality, and programme standards. Experience within social housing frameworks would be highly beneficial.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead as the Contracts Manager, managing quality, programme, and budgets across multiple fire protection contracts

• Represent the business at a senior level, providing technical expertise and client-facing leadership

• Oversee planning, risk assessments, and quality assurance documentation as the Contracts Manager on each project

• Ensure compliance with fire safety legislation and industry standards throughout the contract lifecycle

• Collaborate with commercial colleagues on cost control, variations, and documentation, reporting to senior leadership as the Contracts Manager

About You

• Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or similar role in construction, building surveying, or technical disciplines

• Strong understanding of fire protection systems, frameworks, and Building Safety legislation

• Excellent client-facing and leadership skills, with the ability to manage teams and deliver complex projects

• Knowledge of NEC and JCT contracts, and ability to interpret technical drawings

• Relevant qualifications such as HNC/HND/Degree in Construction or related discipline (IFE Level 2/3 desirable)
