Your new company You will be working for an independent Building Consultancy and provide national coverage throughout the UK, guiding clients through the regulations, technical issues and financial considerations during building, refurbishment, interior design and construction projects, helping them to reach their unique objectives.
Your new role As a Director of Building Surveying, you will be heavily involved in key client development, financial forecasting, team management and growth. Your responsibilities will also include but are not limited to:
Hands-on delivery of building surveying services with bias to project work in the industrial and commercial sector
Technical due diligence
Client management and development
Supervising, managing and mentoring junior members of the building surveying team
Technical reviews to manage the quality of our services
Dilapidations
What you’ll need to succeed To be considered for the Director Building Surveyor role, the successful professional must be able to demonstrate the following traits and attributes:
MRICS Chartered
Consultancy experience
Be commercially minded for winning work and business development
Be able to manage your own workload
Capable of managing individual team members, organising their work where necessary and providing guidance on projects
Good communication and client-facing skills
An analytical mind with a high level of intellect – combining excellent written and oral skills to produce considered and robust reports and recommendations
What you’ll get in return
Salary from £80,000 to £90,000 dependent on experience + package + experience
