We are seeking a proactive individual to support our team of chartered building surveyors and property managers. This role involves working with a diverse range of commercial, block management, and residential sector clients, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services and appropriate fee income.
This is an opportunity to be mentored by our Charted Building Surveyor – ideal for someone looking at completing their APC within two years.
Day-to-day of the role:
Diagnose defects and report on remedial work.
Obtain quotes and tenders for both minor and major works.
Prepare specifications and tender documentation.
Conduct tender analysis and compile reports.
Monitor contractor’s works and maintain client liaison.
Prepare contract documents and administer contracts.
Manage projects from inception to completion.
Prepare schedules of dilapidations and conditions.
Prepare and agree on Party Wall awards.
Ensure compliance with CDM regulations.
Conduct Fire, Health & Safety Assessments.
Undertake measured surveys and prepare CAD drawings.
What you will need:
Building Survey degree (2:1 minimum)
GCSE’s Maths and English (A to B)
1 years’ experience as a Building Surveyor
Full UK Driver’s License
