An award winning, multi-disciplinary construction consultancy is seeking a Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Reading. Working across a variety of sectors, their cost management team provide a comprehensive range of services from cost planning and procurement through to post contract and employers agent services, to support clients through the whole project life cycle.

Role & Responsibilities of the Graduate Quantity Surveyor:

• Pre and post contract work
• Advise on costs involved in building projects
• Evaluation of costs and advise on alternatives
• Evaluation of tenders
• Prepare bills of quantities
• Prepare final accounts

Skills & Experience of the Graduate Quantity Surveyor:

• Graduate with a degree in Quantity Surveying
• The ambition to become a Chartered Quantity Surveyor
• Accurate numeracy skills and a methodical approach to working
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
