Maintenance Surveyor
Salary: £47,000 £51,000 per annum

We re looking for an experienced and motivated Surveyor to join a Housing Association in East London.

The Role
You ll be responsible for overseeing and managing voids, disrepair cases, damp and mould works, and day-to-day responsive repairs. Your work will ensure homes are safe, compliant, and well maintained, while providing excellent customer care to residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out pre- and post-inspections for voids, repairs, disrepair, and damp and mould cases.
• Diagnosing building issues and raising clear, accurate works orders.
• Monitoring and managing contractors to deliver high-quality, timely, and cost-effective repairs.
• Managing disrepair claims and damp & mould cases within required timescales.
• Ensuring void properties are inspected, specified, and handed back ready to let quickly and to a high standard.
• Providing technical advice and support to colleagues to help resolve repair issues.
• Delivering excellent customer service, keeping residents informed and engaged throughout.
• Monitoring costs and performance against budgets and KPIs.
• Relevant degree or professional qualification in surveying, construction, or building maintenance required
