Job Title- Quantity Surveyor

Location- Gateshead

Salary- 45,000- 55,000

Are you a qualified quantity surveyor with experience of residential house building? Are you looking to secure a role in one of the UK’s largest house builders?

Our client is a well established nationally recognised house builder that delivers up to 10,000 homes annually. They are looking for a quantity surveyor to join their North East office to build on their regional successes and deliver quality, cost effective homes

As a quantity surveyor, you will;

• Produce budgets for each allocated site
• Produce orders and payments for sub-contractors and ensure sign offs
• Attend progress meetings and provide regular valuation updates
• Assist with material buying and pricing customer extras

As a quantity surveyor, it is required that you;

• Are a degree qualified quantity surveyor or equivalent HND/HNC in construction
• Have experience working with a residential house builder
• Have a track record of providing homes within budgets
• Negotiation and communication skills

As a quantity surveyor, you will receive;

• 45,000- 55,000 salary based on experience
