Overview:

We are seeking a RICS-chartered Quantity Surveyor to support the review and sign-off of decommissioning studies for solar PV projects. This is a remote, desk-based role suitable for professionals with a strong background in civil or electrical infrastructure, building services, or renewable energy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and validate technical and financial aspects of solar PV decommissioning studies.
• Provide expert sign-off and assurance on cost estimates and methodologies.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Offer guidance on infrastructure-related decommissioning scopes, even outside of solar-specific experience.

Requirements:

• Must be RICS-chartered.
• Experience in renewables decommissioning is desirable but not essential.
• Strong background in civil/electrical infrastructure or building services.
• Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage ad-hoc assignments remotely.

Contract Type: Freelance / Consultancy
