Job Description:
They are seeking a motivated and skilled Quantity Surveyor (or Assistant Quantity Surveyor ready to take a step-up) to join their dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is enthusiastic about sustainability and eager to contribute to projects that have a positive impact on the environment.
Key Responsibilities:
– Conduct cost estimates and prepare budget reports for housing projects. – Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure project cost control and efficiency. – Procure and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors. – Perform risk analysis and manage project cost variations. – Monitor project expenses and provide regular financial updates to stakeholders. – Evaluate sustainability measures and cost-saving opportunities.
Qualifications:
– Previous experience in quantity surveying or a related role is preferred. – Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. – Knowledge of construction processes and materials. – Excellent communication and negotiation skills. – A commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility.
