We re working with a leading contractor who is looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor on a contract basis to support a major healthcare project in Bournemouth.
This is a site-based role, offering the opportunity to play a key part in the commercial delivery of a large-scale mechanical and building services package. You ll work closely with senior leadership, taking ownership of cost control and ensuring the project remains commercially on track.
The Role:
Overseeing the commercial management of M&E and building services works on site
Producing cost reports, forecasts, and monthly financial reviews (CVRs)
Assessing subcontractor applications, variations, and final accounts
Providing ongoing cost advice and supporting budget management across the project
Working closely with the wider project team, as well as clients and external stakeholders
Keeping accurate financial records and reporting on project performance
Supporting contract administration in line with NEC, JCT or similar frameworks
Ensuring compliance with contractual and commercial processes
What We re Looking For:
Strong background as a Quantity Surveyor within M&E or building services
Previous experience on healthcare or hospital projects is highly advantageous
Good working knowledge of NEC and/or JCT contracts
Confident managing subcontractor accounts, variations, and cost control
Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise across multiple stakeholders
Able to work independently in a site-based environment
Full UK driving licence
Must have the right to work in the UK (DBS may be required)
