UKR Group is looking for an experienced Site Manager to start ASAP in London.
Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operations of construction sites, ensuring work is carried out safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Manage and coordinate site staff, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Monitor project progress, prepare reports, and address any issues that may cause delays or impact quality.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Interpret drawings, specifications, and construction plans, ensuring adherence throughout the project.
Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, surveyors, and regulatory authorities.
Conduct site inspections, quality checks, and risk assessments.
Manage site logistics, including deliveries, storage of materials, and site security.
Maintain accurate records of work, including daily site diaries, material usage, and staff attendance.
Resolve site-related challenges and ensure smooth communication between all stakeholders.

Technical knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.

Requirements
Degree, Higher National Diploma (HND), or equivalent qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Building, or a related field (desirable).
Professional certifications, such as CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card, SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme), or equivalent, are often required.
Proven experience in site management.
Up-to-date knowledge of building regulations, codes of practice, and health and safety legislation.
