Opportunity to delivery special projects within a social housing environment
Your new company As a specialist surveyor, you will work for a group of companies operating within the social and commercial residential housing market, as well as the care and support sectors. Your new role Your role will involve undertaking a varied cross-section of professional surveying work, to include overseeing specialist project and major repair works and alterations primarily across social housing properties. You will undertake inspections and initial surveys of properties, before creating specifications, project plans or schedules of works and procuring a contractor to undertake completion of these works – monitoring budgets, quality and seeing projects through to completion.
What you’ll need to succeed In order to succeed in this position you will need to have either a HNC or HND in construction, or a degree in building surveying or similar subject. You will need to have worked in a project driven surveying envrionment previously, ideally dealing with occupied or operational buildings.
